The Story Behind Softly Silk

Kerry lived in Seward, a small town south of Anchorage, Alaska.
She moved her Gallery/Studio from New Zealand to Seward in 1996.
After 16 wonderful years of being an open gallery/studio Kerry closed
the gallery and in 2015 moved back to New Zealand to paint.

She delights in the differences she finds in the colour changes between the northern and Southern Hemispheres working in a variety of mediums, dye on silk, oil and acrylic on canvas, also watercolours.

Kerry also gives art instruction and is enjoying sharing her life here with her husband and dogs.
